What is a home inspection?

A home inspection covers all the major components of the house, including the home's structural integrity, roof, electrical system, plumbing, HVAC system, and any other areas that show damage or concern.
Your home inspection will include a written report with checklists and photos of the property. This information, combined with the sellers disclosure and your observations will be very important in your negotiations.
